Summit is seeking an experienced cook supervisor for the Corrections team in Ann Arbor, MI. You will coordinate and supervise a team to ensure efficient, high-quality meal preparation in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires training staff, ensuring sanitation and proper cooking methods, and maintaining timeliness and portion control. A strong leader with supervisory experience is preferred in a correctional setting.

Qualifications

• At least one year of culinary experience in a high-volume establishment with scratch cooking.
• Knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and train employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation, ensuring meal services begin on time and that portions, appearance and temperature meet quality standards.
