Job summary

Summit, focused on serving correctional institutions, is seeking an experienced cook supervisor for the Gettysburg, PA facility. You will coordinate and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service, quality, and adherence to sanitation standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires at least one year in high-volume scratch cooking, strong culinary knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to lead a team.

Qualifications

• At least one year of culinary experience in a high-volume establishment with emphasis on scratch cooking.
• Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks at once.
• Experience supervising a team and providing friendly, helpful customer service.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and train employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation, ensuring meals begin on time and that portions, appearance and temperature meet standards.
