Job summary

Summit is seeking an experienced cook supervisor for the Adams County Correctional Complex in Gettysburg, PA. You will coordinate and supervise kitchen staff to ensure meals are prepared safely, on time, and to high standards.

Responsibilities include training employees in food service and sanitation, maintaining portion control, and ensuring quality in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. A strong leadership background in corrections or institutional dining is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of culinary experience in a high-volume establishment with scratch cooking.
• Knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supervising a team and providing friendly, helpful customer service.

Responsibilities

• Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation, ensuring meals begin on time and that portions, appearance, and temperature meet high standards.
