Summit is seeking an experienced cook supervisor for a correctional facility kitchen in Perry County, PA. The role involves coordinating and supervising staff to ensure efficiency and adherence to standards in a fast-paced setting.

The candidate should have at least one year of culinary experience in a high-volume environment, strong knowledge of culinary methods, and the ability to multi-task while delivering high-quality meals. This is a part-time, onsite position with benefits.

Qualifications

• At least one year of culinary experience in a high-volume kitchen.
• Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks at once.
• Experience supervising a team and providing training.
• Food Handlers certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation, ensuring meal services begin on time, and ensuring that portions, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality.
