Summit is seeking an experienced cook supervisor for the Corrections team in Crown Point, IN. You will coordinate and supervise food service staff in a fast-paced environment to ensure meals meet established standards.

As a cook supervisor, you will instruct and train employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation; ensure timely meal service, proper portions, appearance, and temperature. We offer $18.00/hr with comprehensive benefits to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• At least one year of culinary experience in high-volume, scratch cooking.
• Knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Ability to train and supervise a team in a fast-paced environment.
