Job summary

We are seeking an experienced cook for Summit's kitchen at the Superior WI location to join a fast-paced, energetic team in a correctional facility. You will prepare meals, maintain quality and portion control, and contribute to a safe, high-standard food program for inmates.

The role offers a $18.00 per hour wage with weekly pay and a $500 sign-on bonus after training completion and 120 days. Medical, vision, and other benefits are provided for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• At least one year of culinary experience in a high-volume establishment with scratch cooking.
• Working knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to use various kitchen equipment and identify food items.
• Customer service experience is required.
