Summit in Salina, KS is seeking an experienced Cook Supervisor to coordinate and supervise kitchen staff in a fast-paced correctional facility environment. This role focuses on training, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards to ensure meals meet portion, appearance, and temperature requirements.

The ideal candidate brings at least one year of high-volume culinary experience, strong supervisory skills, and a meticulous eye for detail. Certification as a Food Handler is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least one year's prior culinary experience in a quality, high-volume establishment with scratch cooking.
• Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks at once.
• The ideal candidate must have experience supervising a team.

Responsabilités

• Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation, ensuring meal services begin on time, and ensuring that portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality.
