Job summary

Summit is seeking an experienced cook supervisor for a correctional facility kitchen in Farmington, UT. You will coordinate and supervise staff to ensure efficient, on-time meal service, maintain high quality, and uphold sanitation standards.

The role emphasizes training, proper portioning, and maintaining high culinary standards in a fast-paced setting. Previous supervisory experience and a food handler certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least one year of culinary experience in a quality, high-volume establishment with scratch cooking.
• Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supervising a team.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and train staff in all aspects of food service and sanitation; ensure meals begin on time and portions/temperature meet quality standards.
