Job summary

BMO is seeking a Corporate Banking Associate in New York to support origination and structuring of corporate lending transactions, coordinating with product partners within a coverage team to deliver client solutions.

The role involves building financial models, performing credit analyses, managing a diverse client portfolio including public REITs and institutional sponsors, and cross-selling Treasury, FX, and other Capital Markets products to clients.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in corporate banking or credit
• Credit analysis background and formal training preferred
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
• Knowledge of capital markets and banking regulations

Responsibilities

• Prepare credit documentation (applications, memoranda, presentations) for stakeholders
• Directly manage a diverse portfolio of public REITs, institutional clients, and PE sponsors
• Monitor client portfolios and regulatory developments impacting needs
• Review performance of existing accounts and client relationships
• Create financial models to analyze client portfolios and anticipate needs
• Identify cross-sell opportunities for Treasury, FX, and Trade Finance products
• Support deal teams in developing and presenting mandates to clients
