Job summary

BMO Capital Markets, a leading full‑service financial services provider, is seeking an Associate for its US Diversified Corporate & Leveraged Banking group in New York. You will analyze financial data, support underwriting, and manage credit decisions across revolvers and term loans.

You will participate in client pitches, coordinate with lenders, and assist in cross-selling cash management, hedging, and related corporate banking products. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• An undergraduate degree with coursework in finance, economics, or accounting.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate banking, corporate credit, commercial banking or capital markets.
• Completion of a financial analysis credit training program preferable.

Responsibilities

• Analyze historical financial performance and build Base/Stress projections for new deals.
• Lead diligence calls with management teams and lenders; compile diligence lists.
• Prepare credit analyses and risk/return models for transactions.
• Support deal teams and cross-sell corporate banking products to clients.
• Monitor borrowers' financials and update internal risk ratings quarterly.
