Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to oversee technical staff and analytical activities during the assigned shift. The role ensures accurate test results, adherence to policies, and efficient operations within the laboratory.

Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree in science (clinical lab sciences preferred), MT (ASCP) or equivalent, and at least three years of clinical laboratory experience, including one year in a lead or supervisory role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science required; clinical laboratory sciences preferred.
• MT (ASCP) or equivalent certification.
• Certification in all areas of the Lab.
• Three years clinical laboratory experience; one year lead/supervisor experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises technical staff and analytical activities during the assigned shift.
• Plans, assigns, and evaluates staff work to ensure quality results and efficiency.
• Maintains regulatory documentation and quality control records.
• Resolves technical and operational issues promptly and appropriately.
• Interprets instructions and communicates with various departments to coordinate services.
• Interviews, hires, and trains staff and manages performance.
