Job summary

BioReference Laboratories, a leading national laboratory, seeks a Core Lab Supervisor to plan, organize, and direct the department ensuring efficiency and compliance. The role requires leadership and hands-on oversight of specimen workflow, test performance, quality and documentation while adhering to budgets and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include scheduling, staffing, inventory management, and driving process improvements to meet turnaround times.

Qualifications

• Lead Technologist or Supervisor experience preferred.
• State licensure where applicable (CA, FL, NY often require licensing).
• 6+ years laboratory experience in a CLIA-accredited clinical lab.
• Strong mathematical, computer, reasoning, and language skills at college level.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and direct department operations to meet turnaround time and budget.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain proper documentation.
• Provide technical oversight and drive process improvements for test accuracy.
