Zusammenfassung

Crhaok laboratory is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to oversee the entirety of laboratory operations, QC, calibration, troubleshooting, quality assurance, proficiency testing and result reporting/review. The role includes SOP development, validation of new tests, and inventory management.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in medical technology (or CLS/MLS), 3+ years of clinical experience, and ASCP or AMT certification.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or CLS/MLS from an accredited institution; or master’s degree and PhD.
• ASCP or AMT certification for BS Degree.

Aufgaben

• Engage in sample preparation and perform testing of clinical samples in a high complexity clinical laboratory environment.
• Supervise day-to-day laboratory operations and personnel performing testing and reporting results.
• Validate new test methods and assist with validations.
• Oversee proficiency testing and manage testing, result submission and evaluation.
• Provide day-to-day supervision of high complexity test performance by testing personnel.
• Oversee orientation and training of new personnel under the Laboratory Manager/Director.
• Maintain instruments with preventive maintenance and calibrate lab equipment.
• Monitor trends in service requests and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain inventory of lab supplies and manage testing turnaround times.
