Job summary

Capital Health seeks a Lab Supervisor to oversee technical staff and analytical activities during the assigned shift, ensuring accurate test results and regulatory compliance. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in science and MT (ASCP) certification, with at least three years in a clinical lab and one year in lead or supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities include planning, staff supervision, documentation, and coordination with administration to maintain high-quality laboratory services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science field required; Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory sciences preferred.
• MT (ASCP) or equivalent certification. Must be certified in all areas of the Lab.
• Three years clinical laboratory experience; one year in lead/supervisor role.
• NAACLS program training noted as Special Training.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the technical staff and the analytical activities during the assigned shift to generate accurate and reliable test results.
• Plans, assigns, reviews and evaluates staff work to achieve quality testing and policy adherence.
• Maintains documentation and quality control records as required by regulatory agencies.
• Interacts with lab administration and other staff to coordinate services and ensure safety and efficiency.
