Job summary

Summit, a division focused on correctional food service, is seeking an experienced cook supervisor for a Kane County Jail kitchen role in Farmington, Utah. You will coordinate and supervise staff to ensure efficiency, safety, and high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment.

Must have at least one year of high-volume, scratch cooking; strong culinary knowledge; attention to detail; ability to multi-task; prior supervision. On-site full-time position with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• At least one year's prior culinary experience in a high-volume establishment with scratch cooking.
• Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks at once.
• High-level product knowledge, provide friendly and helpful customer service and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supervising a team.

Responsibilities

• Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation, ensuring meal services begin on time, and ensuring that portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality.
