The role requires the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED and 0–2 years of related experience, with familiarity of kitchen equipment and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good working knowledge of food preparation.
• Requires familiarity of kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with current applicable standards and regulations to ensure high-quality food service.
• Follow basic recipes and product directions for preparing and serving foods.
• Taste products, estimate food requirements, check production, and requisition supplies.
• Significant walking or other means of mobility.
• Ability to walk or stand for extended periods, up to 8+ hours.
• Lift up to 35 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Attend scheduled shifts on time and perform other duties as required.
