Sodexo at Clarke University is seeking a Cook I to prepare, portion, cook and present hot and cold foods across meal periods in a fast-paced kitchen. You will follow recipes and safety standards, maintain a clean workstation and support team coordination to deliver quality dining experiences.

We value reliability, good food handling skills, and the ability to read menus and follow directions. The role offers full-time hours, rotating weekends, and a benefits-ready workplace.

Qualificações

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.
• Familiarity with common kitchen equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, portion, cook and present hot and cold items as per recipes and standards.
• Follow recipes and product directions for meals across all service periods.
• Estimate production needs, check production and keep records for planning.
• Maintain clean, organized workstation and support kitchen teamwork.
• Adhere to safety, sanitation, and food-handling guidelines.
