Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Cook to prepare cooked foods and handle multiple kitchen stations including Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry, and eggs. You’ll communicate ticket times to the manager and servers, ensuring the highest quality of service. This is a non-exempt position.

You will follow recipes, monitor food quantities, and maintain cleanliness and safe food handling in a fast-paced environment. At least 1 year of related cooking experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards.
• Minimum of 1 year of closely related cooking experience; high-volume and casual dining preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and menus and work at multiple stations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and plate food to spec at Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry stations.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation per HACCP standards.
• Communicate ticket times and potential issues to manager on duty.
