Job summary

HMSHost is hiring a Cook responsible for preparing cooked foods across Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry, and eggs. The role communicates with the manager on duty, ensures high-quality service, and performs related duties as assigned. This is a non-exempt position.

duties include following recipes, estimating production needs, cleaning stations, and maintaining HACCP standards while working in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Requires food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards.
• Ability to follow recipes and menus, estimate production needs.
• Capable of working in a high-volume casual dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes and product directions for a variety of foods.
• Communicate ticket times and potential issues to the manager and servers.
• Maintain clean and sanitary workstations and equipment.
• Ensure food safety and HACCP compliance at all times.
• Operate kitchen equipment and prepare ingredients as needed.
• Assist with stocking and temperature checks of products.
