Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare cooked foods across multiple stations, follow recipes, and communicate ticket times and any issues to the manager on duty to ensure fast, high‑quality service.

This non‑exempt role requires at least 1 year of cooking experience in a high‑volume casual dining environment, knowledge of HACCP standards, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds while standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Requires food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards.
• Requires 1 year of closely related cooking experience in a high-volume casual dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Follows recipes and prepares items across fryer, griddle, pantry and eggs.
• Communicates ticket times and potential problems to the manager on duty.
• Cleans and sanitizes work stations and equipment.
• Operates kitchen equipment and handles ingredients.
• Stocks, dates, rotates, and checks temperature of product.
