Avolta at Fort Myers Airport is seeking a Cook to prepare cooked foods across Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry, and eggs, while communicating ticket times and issues to the manager on duty and servers. This non-exempt role requires maintaining high quality service for customers and teammates.

Essential duties include following recipes, estimating production needs, keeping stations clean, and adhering to HACCP standards; lifting up to 40 pounds and standing for long periods may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards.
• Minimum of 1 year cooking experience in a high-volume casual dining environment preferred.
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Follows recipes and prepares items across stations (Fry, Flat Top, Pantry, eggs).
• Communicates ticket times and issues to the manager on duty and servers.
• Cleans and sanitizes work stations and equipment; follows HACCP practices.
• Operates kitchen equipment and assists with inventory and production planning.
