Job summary

This is a non-exempt position with potential for growth. Minimum qualifications include at least 1 year of cooking experience in a high-volume casual dining setting, knowledge of HACCP standards, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds

Qualifications

• Knowledge of soups, sauté, broiler, fry, and pantry.
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions and interact with customers.

• Adherence to safety and sanitation practices including HACCP standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, season, cook and serve food items per recipes and directions.
• Estimate food requirements and requisition supplies as needed.
• Clean and sanitize work stations and equipment.
• Maintain HACCP safety standards and comply with sanitation practices.
• Operate kitchen equipment and manage ingredient prep.
• Stock, date and check temperatures of products.
