Job summary

Avolta, including Dufry, HMSHost Corporation, Hudson, and affiliates, is seeking a Cook in Honolulu to prepare cooked foods across Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry, and eggs. You will communicate ticket times to management and servers, ensuring the highest quality of service at all times.

This is a non-exempt, full-time position in a fast-paced environment. Primary duties include following recipes, estimating requirements, maintaining sanitation, and handling diverse kitchen responsibilities to

Qualifications

• Food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards.
• Minimum of 1 year cooking experience; high-volume and casual dining experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Follows recipes and product directions for preparing food items including soups, meats, vegetables and desserts.
• Estimates food requirements and requisitions supplies; plans production accordingly.
• Maintains clean, sanitized workstations and equipment.
• Adheres to food safety and sanitation standards (HACCP).
• Operates kitchen equipment; measures, mixes, washes, cuts, and shreds ingredients.
• Stocks and rotates inventory and monitors product temperatures.
