Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Cook to accurately prepare and present hot and cold items across meal periods and events. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and adherence to culinary standards. Shifts are varied and open availability is required.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 0–2 years of experience. You will join a team focused on quality, portion control, and efficient service with opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good working knowledge of food preparation.
• Requires familiarity of kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with current applicable standards to ensure high-quality service.
• Follow basic recipes and directions for cooking and presenting soups, meats, vegetables and desserts.
• Estimate food requirements and check production to plan supplies and equipment.
• Significant walking or other mobility required during shifts.
• Lift up to 35 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
