Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Cook to prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold items for all meal periods and events. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, ensuring safety, quality, and sanitation while maintaining an organized workstation.

Qualifications

• Good working knowledge of food preparation.
• Requires familiarity of kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with current standards and regulations.
• Follow basic recipes and product directions for preparing and serving dishes.
• Taste products, estimate food requirements, and keep records to plan production.
• Significant walking or other mobility.
• Stand or walk for extended periods, potentially >8 hours.
• Lift up to 35 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.
