BW Design Group seeks an experienced Controls Engineer to develop and implement automation solutions for capital projects and manufacturing operations across client sites. You will design and program PLC/SCADA systems, coordinate with stakeholders, and support startup activities, with heavy travel to client locations.

The role requires a solid background in industrial automation, proficiency in AB/SCADA platforms, and the ability to work across engineering disciplines in dynamic manufacturing

Qualificações

• 3+ years of direct controls engineering experience in automated manufacturing environments.
• Experience designing automation control systems, including PLC and SCADA systems.
• Working knowledge of control panel design, instrumentation, and engineering documentation such as P&IDs and process flow diagrams.
• Willingness to travel for project requirements, including site installations and startup activities.

Responsabilidades

• Develop automation solutions from design specifications through testing, commissioning and startup.
• Design automation control systems and create project drawings that meet client requirements.
• Program PLCs and HMI/SCADA systems (Allen-Bradley, Rockwell, FactoryTalk, Cimplicity, Ignition).
• Configure software and hardware packages according to client design specifications.
• Diagnose automation problems and support troubleshooting in manufacturing environments.
• Coordinate site construction, installation and startup support for integrated control systems.
• Validate and commission facility systems using established execution protocols.
• Support system turnover to customers with clear documentation and testing.
