Job summary

BW Design Group in Indianapolis is seeking a Controls Engineer to design automation solutions, program PLCs and HMIs, and support site installation and start-up. You will collaborate with project teams and clients to deliver high-quality control systems for manufacturing environments.

You will create project documentation, interface with vendors, and manage project deliverables within scope, budget, and schedule while applying best practices in control systems engineering.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and troubleshooting control systems in industrial settings.
• Minimum three years as a controls engineer on automated processes or integration projects.
• Experience creating automation controls systems (PLC, SCADA) and related docs.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation solutions by designing control systems and creating project drawings.
• Interface with project teams, clients and vendors.
• Program PLCs (Rockwell) and HMIs (FactoryTalk, Cimplicity, Wonderware, Ignition).
• Communicate progress to project stakeholders and manage deliverables.
