Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years direct controls engineering in manufacturing environments.
• Experience designing automation control systems including PLC and SCADA.
• Knowledge of P&IDs and process flow diagrams.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and project locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation solutions through design specs, software configuration, testing, commissioning, and startup.
• Design automation control systems and create project drawings to meet client needs.
• Program PLCs and HMI/SCADA systems (Allen-Bradley, Rockwell, FactoryTalk, Cimplicity, Wonderware, Ignition).
• Configure software/hardware packages per client specs.
• Diagnose automation problems and support troubleshooting in manufacturing environments.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and updates to stakeholders.
• Manage engineering deliverables to schedule, scope, and expectations.
• Coordinate site construction, installation, and startup support.
• Validate and commission facility systems using execution protocols.
