Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Manager, Solution Delivery in the Finance Operate practice to grow Controllership / Record-to-Report managed services for the Consumer Industry. You will shape client solutions, support sales pursuits, and drive mobilization and delivery excellence.

The role blends accounting expertise with managed services delivery, commercial acumen, and strong client leadership. Travel and collaboration across teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, controllership, record-to-report operations, or finance transformation.
• 6+ years of experience in managed services, shared services, outsourced delivery, or finance operations.
• 6+ years of experience working within the Consumer Industry or serving Consumer clients.
• Experience supporting or leading solutioning, transition, mobilization, or delivery for finance managed services.
• Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Responsibilities

• Architect and shape managed services solutions for Controllership / Record-to-Report opportunities within the Consumer Industry.
• Lead business development activities, sales pursuits, proposal development, client presentations, pre-request for proposal materials, and request for proposal responses for Finance Operate opportunities.
• Manage Finance Operate deal flow for the Consumer sector, including pipeline visibility, opportunity qualification, pursuit prioritization, solution coordination, and handoff to mobilization and delivery teams.
• Lead or support engagement mobilization and ongoing delivery, including governance setup, transition planning, service management, issue resolution, and operational reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement, standardization, automation, and technology enablement across finance operations engagements.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
