Job summary

Georgia-Pacific’s OSB plant in Fordyce, AR is seeking a Controls Systems Operator to support its 12-hour rotating shifts (Days 6:00am-6:00pm; Nights 6:00pm-6:00am). You will operate HMI systems, monitor control data, and troubleshoot to optimize production while following all safety guidelines.

Role includes basic asset care, teamwork to hit production and quality targets, and potential for bonus based on performance metrics. Benefit packages and company match retirement plans are available.

Qualifications

• Experience operating or monitoring production equipment from a control room using HMI, DCS or similar process control software.

Responsibilities

• Operate HMI Systems to defined standards and product specification targets.
• Monitor and/or data entry into computer control systems.
• Troubleshoot machines to optimize production.
• Perform basic asset care duties including routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of work area.
• Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals.
• Operate and/or work around equipment ranging from forklifts to heavy equipment.
