Georgia-Pacific’s OSB plant in Fordyce, Arkansas, is seeking a Maintenance Technician who is safety-focused and committed to reliability. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and working with hydraulic systems and fabrication tasks in a demanding industrial environment.

The position follows a day shift (6:00am–3:00pm CST) with overtime and weekend work, offering competitive benefits and a variable pay component based on performance and targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial environment.
• Experience with fabrication and welding.
• Experience working with hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, installing, aligning, dismantling, and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment for improved reliability and uptime.
• Performing periodic maintenance routines to identify and correct mechanical defects before they fail.
• Maintaining operations equipment to achieve optimal performance levels.
• Working with operations associates to identify and prioritize maintenance needs.
• Adhering to all plant health, safety, and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures with the ability to wear the necessary PPE.
