Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC’s OSB plant in Fordyce, AR is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to support production goals by maintaining PLCs, instrumentation, and controls for reliable operations.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, install and troubleshoot equipment, and work on motors, conveyors, and pneumatic systems on a 12-hour rotating shift with overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or 3+ years industrial electrical/instrumentation experience.
• Experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating electrical components.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, instrumentation, and controls.
• Troubleshoot and install equipment at component level per codes and procedures.
• Work on motors, pneumatic components, conveyors, production machines.
• Participate in project planning and new equipment installation.
