Job summary

Georgia-Pacific's OSB plant in Fordyce, AR is seeking a motivated Controls Systems Operator to support our Operations Team in continuous manufacturing. You will work a 12-hour rotating shift (days and nights) and operate HMI systems to meet product specifications while entering data and monitoring control systems.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and basic preventative maintenance. Experience with HMI or DCS is helpful; familiarity with portable equipment and adherence to PPE is required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating or monitoring production equipment from a control room using HMI, DCS or similar process control software.

Responsibilities

• Operate HMI systems to defined standards and product specification targets.
• Monitor and/or data entry into computer control systems.
• Troubleshoot machines to optimize production.
• Perform basic asset care duties to include routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of work area.
• Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals.
• Operate and/or work around mobile equipment that ranges from forklifts to heavy equipment.
• Adhere to all plant health, safety, and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures including PPE requirements.
