Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is hiring a Maintenance Planner for our Fordyce, AR OSB facility. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

You will partner with production, maintenance, and contractor teams to manage work orders and resources, supporting preventive maintenance programs. The position runs on a Day Shift, Monday–Friday, with typical hours 6:00am–3:00pm CST and potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Two or more years in a manufacturing, industrial, or military environment.
• Experience repairing manufacturing machinery and/or electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability.
• Manage work orders, parts, and resources with production and contractor teams.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve plant performance.
• Use CMMS/MP2 to develop maintenance schedules and update asset data.
• Scope work, estimate resources, and ensure readiness before start of work.
• Verify availability of parts and materials and create purchase requisitions.
• Engage in the plant's safety culture and risk management.
