Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an IT Operations professional to monitor scheduled jobs, batch processes, and dashboards, ensuring timely completion. You will track failures and incidents, performing initial analysis and escalating as needed, while coordinating with multiple teams to drive deliverables to closure.

Responsibilities include clear stakeholder communication, accurate documentation, adherence to incident management procedures, and supporting daily reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Computer Science degree required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor scheduled jobs, batch processes, alerts, and dashboards to ensure timely completion.
• Track job failures, delays, system alerts, and incidents; perform first-level analysis and escalate as needed.
• Coordinate with application support, infrastructure, operations, business, and vendor teams to drive deliverables to closure.
• Communicate status, incidents, delays, risks, and resolutions with stakeholders.
• Document incidents, actions taken, job status updates, and shift handover notes accurately.
• Follow standard operating procedures, escalation matrices, and incident management processes.
• Support daily operational reporting, status tracking, and management updates related to job monitoring.
• Identify recurring issues and support root cause analysis and process improvements.
• Ensure smooth shift transitions by providing complete and accurate handover information.
