Job summary

Voyager Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Contract Specialist to manage and negotiate government contracts, ensuring risk mitigation and strategic alignment with company goals. The role is based onsite in El Segundo, CA, reporting to the Senior Director of Contracts.

The candidate will oversee proposals, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration across legal, finance, and operations. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in tech/defense contracts, familiarity with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• 7+ years in a dynamic technology/defense/space setting.
• Experience with FAR/DFARS contracting.
• Proposal development, cost structures, schedules, and negotiations.
• Ability to influence executive leadership and communicate effectively.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance on contract rights, obligations, and policy procedures to mitigate risk.
• Negotiate terms and payment schedules with customers.
• Develop contract strategies aligned with Voyager priorities.
• Coordinate with Legal, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Compliance.
• Lead contract management activities including closeouts and proposals.
