Job summary

Crowe in Houston, TX seeks an HR Compliance Manager to lead end-to-end contingent worker management, partnering with leaders to design compliant engagement models and oversee classifications, SOWs, onboarding, and offboarding. The role ensures regulatory alignment and strong documentation across global teams.

With 5–7+ years in HR compliance, you will drive risk management, records accuracy, and process improvements while collaborating with Legal, Talent, and Finance to support Crowe’s goals.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor's degree in HR, business, legal studies, or related field.
• Required: 5-7+ years of progressive HR compliance or related experience.
• Required: Owned or overseen contractor management lifecycle.
• Preferred: HR or compliance certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, CCEP).
• Preferred: Experience in professional services or multinational organization.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business units to understand contingent workforce needs and recommend engagement approaches.
• Lead worker classification assessments and consult on complex determinations.
• Create and manage approved job requisitions and related workforce requests in Workday.
• Coordinate onboarding to ensure smooth and timely entry.
• Ensure active agreements and SOWs cover work; manage amendments and terminations.
• Maintain start/end dates, renewal milestones, and required approvals.
• Manage ongoing compliance obligations and documentation.
• Coordinate offboarding with IT, Finance, and other parties.
• Maintain audit-ready records and support audits and remediation.
• Develop contractor lifecycle procedures and drive improvements.
