Job summary

Crowe is seeking an HR Compliance Manager for Contractor Management to own the end-to-end contingent workforce lifecycle across the firm. You will partner with business leaders to align engagement models, classification, and ongoing compliance obligations from requisition through offboarding.

This role involves working with Legal, Talent, Finance, and HR Compliance to ensure accurate records, clear approvals, and proactive risk management across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Legal Studies, or related field.
• 5-7+ years of progressive HR compliance or related experience.
• Must have owned or overseen the contractor management lifecycle.
• Preferred: HR/compliance certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or CCEP).
• Preferred: Experience in professional services, consulting, or multinational organization.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business units to understand contingent workforce requirements and recommend engagement approaches.
• Lead and document worker classification assessments for ICs, subcontractors, and employees; consult Legal on complex determinations.
• Create and manage job requisitions and related workforce requests in Workday.
• Coordinate onboarding and ensure timely, compliant onboarding experience.
• Ensure each contractor engagement has an approved agreement and SOW; manage extensions and terminations.
• Monitor start/end dates, renewal milestones, and approvals; coordinate extensions or terminations.
• Manage employment- and engagement-related obligations, documentation, and compliance.
• Coordinate offboarding with IT, Finance, and business leaders; ensure record closure.
• Maintain audit-ready records; support audits, risk assessments, and remediation.
• Develop and improve contractor lifecycle procedures, controls, and stakeholder communications.
