Talent Solutions Partners in Draper, UT is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract with potential to perm. Schedule is 7am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday. The role involves performing blood draws, labeling specimens, and maintaining accurate patient data.

Requirements include geriatric experience, a valid phlebotomy certification, and at least 6 months to 1 year of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting. Benefits are available.

Competenze

Requires geriatric experience.
Minimum 1 year of experience.
Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
Minimum 6 months of experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.

Mansioni

Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.
Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures. Explains the venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
Demonstrate technique using straight needles and/or butterfly needles.
Understand and comply with physicians' orders; match requisition forms to tubes; label, centrifuge, split, and freeze as required.
Package specimens for transport and ensure correct labeling and temperature controls.
