Job summary

A contract Phlebotomist position is available in Montgomery County, MD through Acloché LLC. The role involves blood draws, specimen labeling, and specimen handling across multiple sites with a defined 1st shift schedule (Mon-Fri, 7am–4pm or 8am–5pm, EOS 8am–12pm).

Projected duration is 3 months with potential for permanent placement. Applicable benefits are available to employees. Prior phlebotomy certification and at least 6 months of venipuncture experience are required.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification as required by the state.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.

Responsibilities

• Experience performing blood draws and labeling specimens.
• Centrifuging specimens and recording maintenance data.
• Package, transport, and store specimens following procedures and regulations.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and ensure specimen integrity.
• Attend required department trainings and maintain OSHA/DEP compliance.
