Ledgent Technology is seeking an IT Support Specialist for a 3-6 month W2 contract onsite in Minneapolis, MN. The role provides front-line support to end users, logging issues, managing tickets, and assisting users both remotely and in person.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (associate degree preferred) and basic experience with Windows, mobile devices, and VPN. Onsite work and a competitive hourly rate apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree in IT, CS, IS, EE or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound support calls, log issues as tickets, and escalate when necessary.
• Monitor and manage helpdesk tickets submitted via forms or email.
• Categorize, prioritize, and resolve tickets in a timely and accurate manner.
• Set up new user laptops, ship equipment as needed, and provide remote assistance with first-time login and setup.
• Configure new user mobile devices and assist remotely with remaining setup tasks.
• Assist users with computer and application login issues.
• Provide support for company-issued printers and VPN connectivity.
• Assist users with MFA and password resets; escalate to training teams as appropriate.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
