Job summary

FIT Technologies in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Regular Part-Time Technical Support Services Technician I to provide technical assistance to clients. The role supports, monitors, and maintains client environments onsite or remotely, following set procedures to meet service standards.

You will install and repair desktop hardware, network equipment, handle routine maintenance, and document steps in the ticketing system while meeting SLA expectations and collaborating with teammates.

Qualifications

• Basic networking concepts like TCP/IP and VLANS.
• Familiarity with deploying network-based Windows workstations.
• Professional demeanor and client-facing communication.
• Knowledge of Windows, AD, M365, and Group Policy basics.
• Experience with MS Office applications and ticketing tools.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail; confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with clients and team members.
• Install, maintain, and repair desktop hardware, network equipment and PC peripherals.
• Maintain daily service calls and meet SLA time frames.
• Perform routine maintenance following standards.
• Perform software/hardware upgrades.
• Provide progress updates accurately and timely.
• Ensure cabling meets required standards.
