Job summary

Husqvarna Group in the United States seeks a Contractor Direct District Sales Manager for Husqvarna Construction to drive profitable sales in Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio. You will maintain customers, develop new accounts, and grow market share through a basket selling approach and strong relationships with decision makers.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in sales, is proficient with CRM and MS Office, and is comfortable with 60-75% overnight travel by car.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in Sales required.
• HS Diploma or equivalent required; BS in Business Admin or related degree preferred
• Overnight travel 60-75% of the time, most often by car
• Must reside in the territory (Indiana, Michigan, Ohio)

Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales budget.
• Manage accurate forecast for responsible territory and channel.
• Execute basket selling to become sole/primary supplier within our categories.
• Maintain understanding of market share and competitive position in the territory.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers and influencers.
• Test tooling and equipment with customers.
• Provide and coordinate technical support and training to customers.
• Nurture relationships as business partners with internal and external customers.
• Conduct comprehensive business reviews to ensure sales growth plan results.
• Maintain accurate CRM and report expenses timely.
