Job summary

UniFirst in Rochester, NY is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative for an 18-month contract position to serve as a liaison between customers and the company. You will assist customers by phone or email, handle AR tasks, and support the Sales Department while providing excellent service.

The role includes on-the-job training, a 5-day work week with Saturdays and Sundays off, and opportunities for professional development within UniFirst's Learning Center.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Customer Service experience in an administrative setting preferred.
• Prior Accounts Receivable experience encouraged.
• Verbal & written communication skills with professional telephone and email etiquette.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by answering questions related to accounts, procedures, and services by telephone or email.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers and UniFirst personnel.
• Perform accounts receivable duties: calling on outstanding accounts, processing credits/exchanges, and resolving conflicts through escalation process.
• Partner and provide administrative support to UniFirst's Sales Department.
• Perform basic data entry and other administrative duties.
