Job summary

Fluidstack in San Francisco is hiring for a People Operations lead overseeing the contractor and extended workforce program. You will own day-to-day management from intake to offboarding, and you will collaborate with Legal, Finance, and IT to scale controls and improve processes.

We seek a candidate with 4+ years in contingent workforce operations, hands-on VMS experience, and strong cross-functional partnering to resolve workforce issues with urgency and practical solutions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in contingent workforce, extended workforce, procurement operations, or HR operations.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day management of Fluidstack's contractor and extended workforce program, from intake through offboarding.
• Manage vendor and staffing supplier relationships, holding partners accountable for service quality and responsiveness.
• Build and maintain compliant processes for worker classification, onboarding, access, and data protection.
• Advise hiring managers and stakeholders on workforce solutions, weighing cost, speed, compliance, and risk.
• Improve the systems and workflows behind the program, including vendor management tooling, reporting, and documentation.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, and IT to resolve escalations and keep the program's controls current as it scales.
