Job summary

Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with a professional services organization, seeks a skilled Talent Operations Specialist to manage contingent worker lifecycle activities, onboarding, and employment compliance across HR systems. This role will coordinate with staffing vendors and serve as a main contact for hiring managers on contingent workforce processes.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in HR operations, background checks, I-9/E-Verify, and experience with HRIS/VMS platforms such as Workday,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical/professional experience.
• 2–5 years of HR operations, talent operations, workforce administration, or related professional experience.
• Experience administering background checks and pre-employment screening workflows.
• Working knowledge of Form I-9 verification and E-Verify processes.
• Experience supporting employment onboarding and compliance processes.
• Experience maintaining employee, candidate, or contingent worker data within HR systems.
• Experience handling confidential employee and candidate information.
• Hands-on experience with HRIS and/or Vendor Management System (VMS) platforms.
• Experience with Workday, ServiceNow or Jira, Smartsheet, and Google Workspace.
• Experience producing workforce utilization, cost, tenure, or program reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage the contingent workforce lifecycle, including onboarding, worker tracking, contract administration, and offboarding.
• Maintain accurate contingent worker records within HRIS and VMS platforms.
• Coordinate with staffing vendors to facilitate worker placements and monitor contract and documentation compliance.
• Serve as a point of contact for hiring managers regarding contingent workforce processes, questions, and issues.
• Troubleshoot worker onboarding and system access issues, including coordination of IT support requests.
• Initiate, monitor, and review background checks and pre-employment screening workflows.
• Administer Form I-9 and E-Verify processes in accordance with applicable requirements and established timelines.
• Generate recurring workforce reports covering utilization, costs, contract tenure, and program activity.
