Job summary

Crowe is seeking an HR Compliance Manager to own the end-to-end contingent worker lifecycle across the firm, working with leaders to assess scope, duration, supervision, and compliance. The role provides guidance on engagement models, classification, and ongoing obligations to maintain compliant engagements from requisition through offboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, legal studies, or related field.
• 5-7+ years of progressive HR compliance or related experience.
• Ownership of contractor management lifecycle.
• Experience with HRIS/workflow systems and reporting.
• Knowledge of worker classification and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business units to understand contingent workforce requirements and recommend engagement approaches.
• Lead and document worker classification assessments and consult on high-risk determinations.
• Create and manage approved job requisitions and related workforce requests in Workday.
• Coordinate onboarding with relevant teams for smooth experiences.
• Ensure contractor/SOWs are in place and documented; manage extensions and terminations.
• Maintain accurate engagement data, approvals, and lifecycle milestones.
• Oversee compliance obligations and documentation for worker status changes.
• Coordinate offboarding, access removal, and final records closure.
• Maintain audit-ready records and support audits, risk assessments, and remediation.
• Develop lifecycle controls, guidance, and reporting to close compliance gaps.
