Job summary

Crowe is seeking an HR Compliance Manager to oversee the end-to-end contingent worker lifecycle across our firm in the United States. You will partner with leaders to evaluate engagements, classify workers, and ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory obligations and internal policies.

As part of a collaborative HR Compliance team, you will manage classifications, SOWs, onboarding, extensions, and terminations while maintaining audit-ready records and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, legal studies, or related field.
• 5–7+ years of progressive HR compliance or contingent workforce experience.
• Experience owning or overseeing the contractor management lifecycle.
• Professional HR/compliance certification preferred (SHRM-CP/SC, PHR/SPHR, or CCEP).
• Experience in professional services, consulting, or multinational organizations.

Responsibilities

• Understand contingent workforce needs and recommend compliant engagement approaches.
• Lead contractor classification assessments with Legal and HR Compliance for high risk cases.
• Create and manage Workday requisitions and ensure proper approvals.
• Coordinate onboarding and ensure timely initiation of engagements.
• Maintain active agreements and SOWs with required approvals and documentation.
• Track start/end dates, renewal milestones, and engagement status with stakeholders.
• Oversee ongoing employment- and engagement-related obligations and records.
• Coordinate offboarding, access removal, and final administrative steps.
• Maintain audit-ready records and support audits and risk assessments.
• Drive improvements to contractor lifecycle controls and reporting.
