Job summary

Crowe is seeking an HR Compliance Manager to own the end-to-end contingent worker lifecycle, partnering with business leaders to ensure compliant engagement from requisition to offboarding and accurate classifications to manage risk.

You will collaborate with Talent, Legal, Finance, and other stakeholders to maintain audit-ready records, coordinate SOWs and onboarding, and drive improvements across the contractor lifecycle while upholding Crowe’s Care, Trust, Courage, and Stewardship values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, legal studies, or related field.
• 5–7+ years in HR compliance or related contingent workforce experience.
• Experience owning the contractor management lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of worker classifications (independent contractor vs employee).
• Experience with HRIS/Workday, reporting, and processes controls.

Responsibilities

• Understand contingent workforce needs and advise on engagement approaches.
• Lead worker classification assessments with Legal on complex determinations.
• Create and manage approved job requisitions and Workday engagements.
• Coordinate onboarding, SOWs, and extensions.
• Maintain accurate engagement records and approvals.
• Monitor renewal milestones and offboarding procedures.
• Ensure compliance with documentation, training, and status changes.
• Drive continuous improvements to contractor lifecycle controls.
• Prepare audit-ready records and support risk assessments.
• Collaborate across Legal, Talent, Finance and HR Compliance.
