Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition professional for full-time, onsite roles in the San Diego or Irvine offices. The recruiter will manage full-cycle hiring for experienced requisitions, partnering with regional managers to define needs and fill positions efficiently.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of Talent Acquisition experience, with proven LinkedIn Recruiter proficiency and knowledge of HR policies. Some travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field with 3 years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other related social media platforms is required
• Recruiting experience within the construction industry is strongly preferred
• Construction or construction-related industries experience with mid-size organizations (10,000+ employees) preferred
• Knowledge of HR Talent Acquisition policies, operations, and processes
• High energy self-starter with advanced Talent Acquisition skills and ability to prioritize competing demands
• Professional verbal and written business communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, active listening skills, and follow-up practices
• Ability to interact with all employee levels, management, and applicants/candidates; maintain confidentiality
• Work independently with little supervision; collaborate with others
• Implement new talent acquisition programs and processes with attention to detail and deadlines
• Solid problem solving and analytical capabilities
• Limited travel

Responsibilities

• Promote company culture, values, and contribute new approaches to support continuous improvement in TA services
• Manage high-volume recruiting in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate with regional BU hiring managers to define talent needs and job requirements
• Manage talent acquisition lifecycle: post requisitions, screen, shortlist, schedule interviews, create offers, manage background checks, onboarding
• Proactively build and maintain a pipeline of qualified talent using multiple sourcing channels
• Research and engage talent via social media platforms and resume databases
• Build relationships with HR and BU Operations teams to provide high level service
• Apply lean concepts to improve processes and reduce waste
